# Chapiware Brand Manifesto

I build calm, personal tools for real life.

At Chapiware, I believe your most important data is not "content."
It is your memories, your habits, your days, and your progress.
That data belongs to you.

I reject the idea that every useful app needs an account, a cloud backend, and surveillance analytics.
I chose a different path: local-first products that are fast, private, and simple enough to use every day.

I design for trust before growth.
I design for longevity before novelty.
I design for people, not dashboards.

## What I believe

Privacy is a feature, not a legal checkbox.
Speed is respect.
Simplicity wins long-term.
Tools should help you reflect, not perform.
Your data should stay yours by default.

## How I build

Local-first architecture.
No required login.
Minimal permissions.
Clear, human UX.
Small products that solve one job well.

## The product family

Ayer helps you revisit your life through daily photos.
Your Year helps you see your year at a glance.
CountlyDaily helps you capture life as it happens: the fastest private event logger.
Together, these products form a personal timeline system:
remember your life, understand your patterns, shape your future.

## My promise

When you use a Chapiware app, you should feel three things:

- Safe
- In control
- Clear

If a feature compromises those values, I don't ship it.

Chapiware exists to prove that independent software can be useful, beautiful, and private by default.
